(Media-Newswire.com) - A disgraced former chief of staff for Vice President Dick Cheney was disbarred due to his being found guilty last year for ling and obstructing justice. The former lawyer has lost his license to practice law due to the conviction in this case involving a CIA leak.

The offenses Libby was convicted of require the subject to be disbarred as they are offenses with "moral turpitude"

President George Bush commuted Libby's sentence which sent outrage through politicians throughout the U.S. Libby was not accused or charged with the leak of a CIA informant's identity but part of the cause that destroyed her career. It has been reported that Libby did not object to disbarrment.
