(Media-Newswire.com) - St. Norbert College will host an exhibit by Brian Romenesko on Monday, Jan. 21, through Friday, Feb. 15, in the Godschalx Gallery of the college's Bush Art Center.
Brian Romenesko is a self-taught artist whose highly detailed drawings and paintings explore spiritual themes using symbols such as eyes, halos and plant imagery. Romenesko's primary mediums are pens and colored pencils. He won the People's Choice Award at the Bergstrom Mahler Museum Arts Festival in 2011.
In describing his work, Romenesko says: "I would like to think that seeing things with a third eye would open infinite possibilities. My main focus is that we are all of one mind."
The gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A special reception will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m.
For more information, contact St. Norbert's art curator, Shan Bryan-Hanson, at 920-403-3072 or via e-mail at shan.bryan-hanson@snc.edu.
