Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Gregory Jones, Special Agent- in-Charge of the Atlanta Office of the FBI, announced today the arrest of FINNIE HAWKINS, age 32, whose last known address was 6204 South Vernon Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. HAWKINS was arrested yesterday morning, without incident, by FBI Agents in Atlanta as he was exiting an apartment at 1680 Chantilly Drive.

Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) and Gregory Jones, Special Agent- in-Charge of the Atlanta Office of the FBI, announced today the arrest of FINNIE HAWKINS, age 32, whose last known address was 6204 South Vernon Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. HAWKINS was arrested yesterday morning, without incident, by FBI Agents in Atlanta as he was exiting an apartment at 1680 Chantilly Drive.
coordinated by the Chicago FBI since evading capture and fleeing from the Chicago area in May of 2004. HAWKINS was charged in a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Chicago, along with 46 other known and suspected members of the Black Disciples street gang, with numerous violations of federal drug laws.
The investigation leading to the filing of these charges, code named "Operation Marveless", targeted one of the largest and most violent street gangs in Chicago, which effectively took control of entire neighborhoods which they used as a base of operations for their drug trade. HAWKINS himself was alleged to be a high ranking member of the Black P Stone Nation and worked with the Black Disciples in the distribution of illegal drugs.
Information leading to HAWKINS location and arrest was obtained from a viewer of the television show "America's Most Wanted" , which profiled HAWKINS in November of 2006.
HAWKINS is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Atlanta, later today, at which time the government will seek to have HAWKINS held without bond, pending his return to Chicago.
A nationwide manhunt for DONNELL JEHAN, the last remaining fugitive from this investigation who is depicted on the attached wanted flyer, is still underway. Anyone recognizing JEHAN or having any information about his current whereabouts, is asked to call the Chicago FBI at ( 312 ) 421-6700.
The investigation leading to charges filed in this case was conducted by the Chicago FBI's Joint Task Force on Gangs, which is comprised of FBI Special Agents and Gang Crimes Officers from the Chicago Police Department ( CPD ).
