INSULZA ANNOUNCES THAT RICARDO LAGOS AND HILDA SOLÍS WILL BE THE INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS OF A VERIFICATION COMMISSION TO HONDURAS
The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Jose Miguel Insulza, announced today that the international members of a Verification Commission to Honduras called for in the agreement reached in Honduras last week will be the former President of Chile, Ricardo Lagos Escobar, and the current Secretary of Labor of the United States, Hilda Solís.
(Media-Newswire.com) - The Secretary General of the Organization of American States ( OAS ), José Miguel Insulza, announced today that the international members of a Verification Commission to Honduras called for in the agreement reached in Honduras last week will be the former President of Chile, Ricardo Lagos Escobar, and the current Secretary of Labor of the United States, Hilda Solís.
Secretary General Insulza indicated that the two international members will arrive in Tegucigalpa this Tuesday, November 3, to meet with the Honduran members, Jorge Arturo Reina and Arturo Corrales, and will be accompanied by the OAS Secretary for Political Affairs, Víctor Rico, and a delegation of high-level officials of the OAS.
