California Earthquake Today Rattles Baja, Mexicali and Calexico
A strong California earthquake rocked the border between Mexico and the U.S. no major damage was reported for the 5.8 magnitude tremor.
(Media-Newswire.com) - A strong California earthquake rocked the border between Mexico and the U.S. no major damage was reported for the 5.8 magnitude tremor.
The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be in the area around Calexico and Mexicali. The area has smaller buildings so fear of collapses was not an issue.
The quake was reported just before 11 A.M. local time and felt as far away as Arizona according to media reports.
Two smaller magnitude quakes were reported just before the larger 5.8 quake.
