(Media-Newswire.com) - The Middlesex Community College Board of Trustees has named Gabrielle Davis, of Dracut, Student Trustee for the 2012-2013 academic year. Davis is enrolled in MCC’s Liberal Arts and Science degree program, with a concentration in Communications.
Davis has been a member of the Student Union Government Association since her enrollment at MCC in January of 2011. In her current role as secretary, she created and oversees the monthly Club & Organization Newsletter. This past February, Davis was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the national honor society for two-year colleges, and recently attended the organization’s International Conference in Nashville. Other notable experiences include her membership in the Women’s Leadership Network, FLY Youth Mentor Program, Trio Success Program, Trio Peer Coach, and a First Year Experience Course Peer Mentor/Teaching Assistant.
