Syncsort Appoints Walter F. Curti Vice President of Data Protection Engineering

Syncsort, a global leader in data protection and disaster recovery software, today announced that it has appointed Walter F. Curti to lead global engineering, support and services for the company's data protection technologies and solutions.

Curti to lead global engineering, support and services for the company’s data protection technologies and solutions. Reporting directly to Syncsort’s Chief Executive Officer Flavio Santoni, Curti will provide leadership and strategic direction for the data protection business line in support of the overall corporate growth strategy.
Curti joins Syncsort from FalconStor Software where he served as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he was responsible for leading research and development including the company’s storage, data protection, virtualization and deduplication technologies as well as cloud-based initiatives. Curti previously held senior leadership positions at Computer Associates, Inc. and Cheyenne Software.
