An entire community is coming together to help one of their own in her attempt to raise money to help fund the expenses for a secondary kidney transplant as the original transplanted one has begun to fail.
(Media-Newswire.com) - An entire community is coming together to help one of their own in her attempt to raise money to help fund the expenses for a secondary kidney transplant as the original transplanted one has begun to fail.
On October 14, at the Alley at Southshore, located at 10221 Big Bend Road, in Riverview Florida, a charitable Bowl - A - Thon and silent auction will be held in order to raise money to offset costs for transportation and medical expenses associated with the future transplant.
Numerous businesses have stepped up to aide in the silent auction, such as Pepsi and Papa Johns, Beef O Brady's as well as local establishments such as: Uncle Mike's BBQ, Town and Country Barber Shop, Jarrett Scott Ford, Casper's Company McDonalds', have all donated.

ABOUT HOPE FOR DEVON
Hope for Devon was created in order to help being financial help to Devon Cooley Carver, a 34 year old Riverview native who is a kidney and Pancreas transplant recipient. The transplanted kidney currently has zero function and she is currently looking for a living donor. Conditions are be O- or +, under 50 and in perfect health.
