(Media-Newswire.com) - RALEIGH — Beginning Monday, Jan. 7, motorists may encounter traffic delays on Smith Level Road in Carrboro as crews perform utility work to prepare for an upcoming widening project. Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures after 9 a.m. each day and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
