The Wichita Police Department is investigating vandalism to the "Heritage Woman" sculpture located in Heritage Park, near the intersection of Main and William behind the Wichita Sedgwick-County Historical Museum.
(Media-Newswire.com) - The Wichita Police Department is investigating vandalism to the “Heritage Woman” sculpture located in Heritage Park, near the intersection of Main and William behind the Wichita Sedgwick-County Historical Museum. Damage to the five-and-a-half-foot bronze sculpture was discovered today by a local citizen and reported to the City of Wichita. The sculpture was found laying on the ground off its base and broken in half. It is not known at this time when the vandalism occurred or the cost of repairs.
The public is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111 with information relating to the crime.
