(Media-Newswire.com) - The French and German ambassadors to the United States will meet with DePaul University students to thank them for creating an English translation of a website that is dedicated to honoring the 50th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty. The ambassadors also will view an exhibition commemorating this anniversary of French and German economic and political cooperation.

Students in DePaul’s Modern Languages department in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences have been working to create an English language translation of the website that is dedicated to honoring the 50th anniversary of The Elysée Treaty. The treaty allowed France and Germany to put aside centuries of conflict and formed the basis for economic cooperation among European nations in the modern era.
