Juvenile Apprehended in Halifax County, Returned to Secure Custody
RALEIGH â€" Halifax County law enforcement officials this morning apprehended a juvenile who on Sunday, Aug. 24, failed to return to secure custody at the Dobbs Youth Development Center following a home visit in Halifax County.
(Media-Newswire.com) - RALEIGH – Halifax County law enforcement officials this morning apprehended a juvenile who on Sunday, Aug. 24, failed to return to secure custody at the Dobbs Youth Development Center following a home visit in Halifax County.
Officials with the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office took the juvenile identified as Joshua D. back into custody around 6 a.m. He was found in a wooded area in the Lincoln Heights area of Halifax County. Joshua D. has been returned to secure custody at a Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice juvenile detention center.
Those assisting in the search for the juvenile were the Juvenile Court Services and Security Services sections of the Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice.
