From reflexology to cryptic crosswords: weekend day courses on offer
Courses covering art & design, music and complementary therapy are on offer to local people in a programme of entertaining weekend dayschools at the University of Bath.
(Media-Newswire.com) - Courses run on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December from 10am to 4pm, at the Claverton Campus and at Carpenter House, the University’s city centre location.
For frustrated crossword fans, help is at hand in An introduction to Cryptic crosswords which will reveal the simple secrets of clue structure and decoding.
A practical reflexology workshop will help people to discover the power of their finger tips, learning techniques for the feet that promote healing and deep relaxation.
In art & design, students can create a stunning stained glass panel for a window, door or decoration in Stained glass for all. In music, Have fun with drumming gives students with or without musical skills the chance to play an instrument and experience the stress relieving benefits of drumming.
Marie Salter, programme manager at the University of Bath said: “We’re running two days of very varied courses, with the emphasis on enjoyment. The courses are a good way for people to enjoy a hobby for the day, or dip into something new.”
