Free advice is being offered to rural businesses at an event this month
The Leicestershire Rural Business Advice Fair will bring together over twenty specialist agencies including Environmental Agency, Business Link, ADAS, Acorus, Lantra, Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Services, Leicestershire Constabulary, Clockwise Credit Union Service and Leicester CAN to offer free advice, support and grants available.
(Media-Newswire.com) - Leicestershire County Council is organising a half day "drop in" advisory event for farmers and rural businesses. The Leicestershire Rural Business Advice Fair will bring together over twenty specialist agencies including Environmental Agency, Business Link, ADAS, Acorus, Lantra, Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Services, Leicestershire Constabulary, Clockwise Credit Union Service and Leicester CAN to offer free advice, support and grants available. There will be three seminars to look at specific advice these include LCC Grant Support 4.45pm, Acorus Planning Issues 5.30pm and Adas Agricultural Practical Pointers 6.45pm. Farmers and land owners along with rural businesses, including those involved with tourism, equestrianism and social enterprises from across the Charnwood, North West Leicestershire, Melton, Rutland, Hinckley and Bosworth, Blaby and Harborough districts are being invited to the event, which is been held at The Rothley Centre, 12 Mountsorrel Lane, Rothley, Wednesday 24 January 3pm to 8.30pm ( buffet from 5.30pm ). Mr Earnie White, Leicestershire County Council cabinet lead member for community services, said: “The Leicestershire Rural Business Advice Fair continues to attract a wide range of agencies and organisations that are able to offer vital advice and support to rural businesses throughout Leicestershire.
