This year marks the sixth annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month at Texas A&M, a month of celebrating the many contributions Hispanics have made to the university. The first event will be the formal opening ceremony from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept.18, in the Memorial Student Center Flagroom, with a reception to follow in the J. Wayne Stark Galleries. Events will continue through Oct. 15.
