(Media-Newswire.com) - Health Minister Stephen Robertson today announced existing services would continue at Aramac Hospital during the next 12 months.
“The Bligh Government has always been committed to providing safe and sustainable health services to regional communities like Aramac,” Mr Robertson said.
“Over the next 12 months we will continue to consult with the hospital staff and the Aramac community about the most appropriate mix of services to meet their needs.
“All options remain on the table and I appreciate the Aramac’s community's willingness to work with the Government to achieve the best outcome.
“I have asked my Deputy Director-General Andrew Wilson to co-ordinate the consultation process and keep me informed of its progress."
