On Feb. 4 and 5, the Glendale Community College Green Efforts Committee will host a "National Teach-In on Global Warming Solutions," which is free and open to the public. It is the sequel to last year's "Focus the Nation on Climate Change" event. Activities on Wednesday, Feb. 4, will feature an outdoor "Sustainability Fair," that showcases student presentations; "green" product booths and vendors; and displays, staffed by sustainability advocates for hydrogen production, wildlife preservation and other issues. A national webcast on the teach-in topics, Solutions for the First 100 Days, will be shown from 7-8 p.m. in SU-104.
