(Media-Newswire.com) - COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute named Steve Chaykowski ( 43023 ) as executive director of development.
Chaykowski will work closely with leaders of The James while providing leadership, direction, and comprehensive oversight of all development initiatives and activities.
Chaykowski rejoins The James after working for The Ohio State University for several years in a variety of fundraising and development roles. He also served as the senior director for development for the Heart and Vascular Institute of The Cleveland Clinic. In his most recent role, he was the executive director for engineering advancement at Ohio State’s College of Engineering.
He earned a degree in hospitality management from The Ohio State University and holds a masters degree in labor and human resources from Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business.
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is one of only 40 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States and the only freestanding cancer hospital in the Midwest. Ranked among the top 20 cancer hospitals in the nation, The James is the adult patient-care component of the cancer program at The Ohio State University.
