Rochester, N.Y.—October 20, 2009—The Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester is hosting another in a series of quarterly public forums on economic and public policy issues—this time focusing on “The Challenge of Health Care Reform.”
Panelists will include:
Steven Goldstein, President and C.E.O., Strong Memorial and Highland Hospitals Ronald W. Hansen, Senior Associate Dean for Program Development, William H. Meckling Professor of Business Administration and Director of the Bradley Policy Research Center, Simon Graduate School of Business David Klein, C.E.O., Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Clifford W. Smith Jr., Louise and Henry Epstein Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Finance and Economics, Simon Graduate School of Business Gerard J. Wedig, Associate Professor of Business Administration, Simon Graduate School of Business Fran Weisberg ’75, Executive Director, Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency Mark Zupan, Dean, Simon School of Business, Moderator Panelists will discuss the health care reform bills currently being debated in the House and Senate and their similarities and differences, as well as the implications and consequences for individuals and the insurance and medical industries.
