(Media-Newswire.com) - Email services were down for one hour on Tuesday for the popular Hotmail service that millions of users utilize to manage emails.
At 9:30 A.M. PST, the services were reported down and were unavailable. Since then, the Internet has been flooded with inquiries as to the length of downtime and the problem's origins.
One hour later, a statement from Microsoft was announced that the services were once again available.
“This morning, around 9:30am PST, the Windows Live ID sign-in service experienced a partial outage that caused some customers to not be able to sign into services using Windows Live ID for approximately one hour," Microsoft said in a statement.
No explanation was given for the outage or that it is completely fixed.
