(Media-Newswire.com) - Incentive and rebate programs that encourage conservation and recycling will be among the topics when a panel of experts from various organizations will discuss “Saving Money While Saving the Environment” 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the Antelope Valley College Board Room, SSV 151, 3041 W. Ave. K, Lancaster.
AVC biological sciences Professor Debbie Feickert will be joined by representatives from the Gas Company, Southern California Edison, Waste Management, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, AV Conservancy and local water districts.
The panelists will discuss measures that Antelope Valley residents can take to preserve and protect our natural environment, in addition to cost-saving measures.
Those in attendance will have an opportunity to interact with the panelists.
