U.S. News & World Report ranks Part-time MBA program #1 in NC and #20 in the nation; Traditional, daytime MBA program #45 in nation
WINSTON-SALEM, NC th For the sixth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked the Wake Forest University School of Business Part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs No. 1 in North Carolina
(Media-Newswire.com) - WINSTON-SALEM, NC – For the sixth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked the Wake Forest University School of Business Part-time Master of Business Administration ( MBA ) programs No. 1 in North Carolina, and the second consecutive year at No. 20 in the nation. More than 300 part-time MBA programs programs were considered for the ranking.
“The high quality of our students, who bring their work experience to the classroom, coupled with the exceptional instruction and mentorship our faculty and staff demonstrate the value of our program,” said Matthew Phillips, associate dean for Working Professional MBA programs. Steady growth in the programs and strong assessments from peer schools contributed to the ranking.
The School’s traditional, daytime MBA program ranked No. 45 in U.S. News among the more than 450 schools surveyed. Strong employment figures, both at graduation and within three months, test scores, recruiter perception and salary numbers contributed to a 13-point increase over last year’s ranking.
“Wake Forest has traditionally placed among the top 50 programs,” said Scott Shafer, associate dean of the Full-time MBA program. “We’re particularly pleased by our strong employment outcomes, which demonstrate our commitment to our students and their careers. That commitment remains strong as we transition to flexible delivery methods for our MBA program.”
The Part-time MBA program, designed for working professionals, is offered at Wake Forest’s main campus in Winston-Salem in the evenings, and evenings and Saturdays at the Wake Forest University Charlotte Center in Uptown Charlotte.
